Instructions for Applying Online
The Wellington and Guelph Housing Services department encourages applicants to use the online application system. To access this new system click on the following Apply Online Link at the bottom of this page.
NOTE: (This system requires Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or greater and is optimized for High Speed Internet Connection, you may find it slower using a Dial Up Service)

- The Voyager Online Application Process is hosted by Yardi Systems Inc. If you have any questions and/or concerns please contact Wellington and Guelph Housing Services at (519)837-5492.
- The Online Application allows you to prepare your application and then, make changes and/or updates to the application. You will also have the ability to apply in more than one municipality that uses the Voyager Online Application Process. (NOTE: Not all municipalities have this service available). When you have completed your Online Application you will receive a confirmation number. Please record this number. You will need it if you need to view or update your application later.
- To start the process and gain access to your data and maintain security within the system, you will be required to create a user I.D with a secure password. This secure password and user I.D. will permit access to your information regardless of the area you are applying to. To acquire a secure password, simply follow the steps in the set up instructions.
REMEMBER – YOU NEED TO RECORD YOUR USER ID AND PASSWORD FOR FUTURE REFERENCE!
- You are ready to begin! As you work through the Online Application, you will be required to complete all questions on the form. If you do not complete the critical questions (highlighted in blue), the application will not allow you to proceed. Once you have completed all sections of the application, you will be provided with the opportunity to submit the completed application. By agreeing to SUBMIT your application, the Co-ordinated Access Centre will be notified that your application has been submitted. This notification will provide the Co-ordinated Access Centre with the exact date and time of your submission.
- Once you have submitted your online application you will need to give to the Housing Access Centre for Wellington and Guelph additional information related to eligibility. Original Documents must be presented at our office and photocopied by our staff for your file. If it is not possible to travel to our office a notarized “Certified True Copy” may be submitted. Certification / Notarization can be provided by a Notary Public, a lawyer or a guarantor. For a list of Acceptable forms of Proof and the Guarantor’s Form please click the link below.
