Book Club
Will resume in September with the book "Best Laid Plans" by Terry Fallis.
Jungle Story Hour
Come to Story Hour and sing songs, play games, do a craft and have fun! Programme runs every Wednesday morning from July 7th until August 11th, from 10:30-11:30. For children ages 3-5 years.
Jungle Fun
Come explore the jungle through games, stories and crafts. Runs every Tuesday afternoon, July 6th until Aug 10th from 1:30-2:30. For children ages 6-10 years.
Bug Safari with Kiirsten
Come explore the world of bugs, learn how to catch and care for bugs. On Friday July 9th at 2:30 pm. For children aged 6-10 years. PROGRAMME IS FULL!
Scrapbooking Cards
Join Brenda on Saturday July 10th at 11:00 am to create jungle themed all occassion cards. For children 10 years and over. Everything supplied.
Puzzle Night
Come to the library to do and make your own puzzles on Thursday July 22nd at 6:30 pm. We will have jigsaw, word and number puzzles.
Sciensational Snakes
Join us on Wednesday August 4th at 2:30 pm and see snakes up close. Open to all ages and a $2.00 fee per person applies. PROGRAMME IS FULL
Wrap up Party with ANDREW QUEEN
Come sing and dance along with musician Andrew Queen on Thursday Aug 12th from 10:30-11:30 am. All ages welcome.
Build a Model Tree House Contest
Use recyclable materials to create a tree house. Ask for full details. Prizes awarded for various age groups. Can be brought to the library between Aug 7th and the 14th.
Judging will be after the 14th.
Library Information
The Palmerston Carnegie library was designed by architect W. Frye Colwill and completed in 1903. Several municipal functions, in addition to the library, were included in the building.
The Palmerston Public Library is located one block south of the main street of Palmerston, Ontario.
