NOTICE

In accordance with County policy, the County of Wellington has offered for sale the following property –

5858 Eighth Line, Concession 8, Part Lot 24, in the Town of Erin, County of Wellington, Ontario.

Interested parties are directed to contact the County’s realtor – Gairdner and Associates, 122 Main Street, PO Box 459, Erin, Ontario. 519-833-2879.

Offers will be open for consideration, by the County, up to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 17, 2010. It is expected that a recommendation with respect to the sale of the property will be considered by County Council on Thursday, May 27, 2010.

For your convenience, the County of Wellington has implemented a new Parking Ticket online payment system. The system has been set up in both English and French with a service charge of $2.50

2009 Budget Book

On February 26th, 2009 Wellington County Council approved the 2009 operating and capital budgets. The budget provides for a series of investments designed to stimulate the local economy by investing in infrastructure, improving service levels in the County and enhancing recent environmental initiatives.

The 2009 Budget Book provides a complete listing of the major initiatives included in the 2009 budget as well as 2009-2013 forecasted operating and capital budgets for the County of Wellington.

Notice of the Passing of a Development Charge By-law
28-November-05

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the County of Wellington passed By-law No. 4792-05 to amend By-law No. 4584-03 being a by-law to establish development charges for the Corporation of the County of Wellington on the 24th day of November, 2005 under section 12 of the Development Charges Act, 1997;

AND TAKE NOTICE that any person or organization may appeal to the Ontario Municipal Board under Section 14 of the Act, in respect of the development charge by-law, by filing with the Clerk of the County of Wellington on or before the 4th day of January, 2006 (the business day that is 40 days after the day the by-law is passed) a notice of appeal setting out the objection to the by-law and the reasons supporting the objection.

Notice of Public Meeting - Non-Residential Development Charges

Wellington County Council will hold a public meeting as required by the Development Charges Act on Thursday, November 3, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. in the Aboyne Hall at Wellington Place, 536 Wellington County Road 18, in the Township of Centre Wellington.
